The Geneva Living Lab focuses on the integration of New and Shared Mobility (NSM) services with public transport.

The Living Lab aims to achieve this by developing mobility hubs to seamlessly integrate NSM and public transport, simplifying the traveller experience, and integrating passenger and freight transport through an optimised on-demand delivery system using vehicles dedicated to on-demand passenger transport. The project also intends to capitalise on collaborations with previous Horizon Europe projects such as ULTIMO to maximise synergies.

The project is in line with the canton’s climate plan, which aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 60% by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
